The Guernsey Arts Commission is at the heart of the island’s arts scene. They have a beautiful exhibition space called ‘the greenhouse’ which held ‘Etched In Memory’. And I was lucky enough to work closely with the GAC team to produce design work for the exhibition.
Local artist Liesja Grut had a family shop that has been trading for nearly 100 years.
‘Grut's’ was the one-stop shop for local photographers.
Along with printing images, they also took portraits and images of local scenes.
The negatives were produced on glass plates.
Liesja created a stunning exhibition of images by using the original glass negatives.
I produced an A5 invite, an A5 information flyer and poster.
Below are some shots of the print work.
Printed on Cacoon 350gsm.
